In line with UGC guidelines, our undergraduate programmes follow the Choice Based Credit and Semester System (CBCS) along with the Outcome Based Education (OBE) framework. These systems ensure flexibility, academic rigor, and updated course content, enabling students to tailor their learning paths while meeting well-defined educational outcomes.

The Kerala State Higher Education Council is actively involved in capacity building for the faculty and administrative mechanism in State Universities and Colleges for the Implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE) in Four Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP) and Post Graduate programmes. Council has published various documents for reference as the model of Learning Outcomes, Graduate Attributes, Attainment of Outcomes etc. designed by Prof. N.J. Rao (Former Director Electronics, IISc Bangalore). It also provides hands-on-training with expertise for the implementation of OBE in higher education institutions.
